Holding down the Shift key + left side of the mouse allows users to move the diagram across the diagram editor, also known as pan mode. Pan mode can also be activated using the four arrow buttons to the left of the reset zoom button.

Zoom buttons (+ and -) found on the toolbar allows you to decrease or increase the size of the image.

Editing the Diagram and Table

On the Diagram Editor toolbar, click on Reset Splitter Position to bring the diagram to half diagram, half table.

Click on the separator at the bottom of the Diagram Editor to minimise or maximise the Table.

Drag the splitter to the top of the screen to work in the Table. On the other hand, drag the splitter to the bottom of the screen to work in the Diagram.

Task per row slider

The Task per Row Slider allows you to adjust how much of your HTA diagram is visible at a time. This makes it easier to focus on different levels of detail.

Step 1: Adjust the slider found at the bottom right of the diagram. In this example, the slider has 3 levels, since there are 3 rows of tasks in the diagram. Step 2: Adjusting to Slider Level 2 will only show the first two rows of the diagram: First Task > Subtask and Second Task.

Step 3: Adjusting to Slider Level 1 will only show the first row of the diagram: First Task and Second Task.
